There is a record of each standard workstage listed, because we want to reinforce the benefit of using the RIBA plan of work.
All the innovations from the other services that we offer apply equally to our work as architects. Dealing with existing buildings is a substantial part of our skill-set. In many ways it involves a slightly different approach from that of new-build.
We are aware of the implications of working with old buildings and vacant sites (In London, most sites have a complex history, even if they seem vacant).
Innovation applies to both – with careful advice, new opportunities are there to be exploited in both.
